The hotel is in need of updating, with a very musky smell in my room and a bathroom that was horrendous. Despite the tired appearance and lack of Sunday night food service, the staff in the corridors were polite and helpful. The location was suitable for attending specific events and offered a quiet environment. The Mediterranean dishes were really good. Facilities were adequate, although the property is dated.
The hotel is in a convenient location for Loughborough and the surrounding area. The rooms could use some updates and better furniture coordination, but they are clean. The service is exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The location is quiet and suitable for business or rail enthusiasts. The dining experience is decent, but with some room for improvement. Overall, it offers good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was ideal for attending the festival I was there for, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the noise from the bar and kitchen was a bit bothersome, and the bathroom definitely needs some updating.
